How to get to Bio Equivalence
1) The Building Blocks - Amino Acids
Proteins are nutrients that are comprised of Amino Acids. There are over 25 Aminos, some of which our bodies can make, but there are nine (9) essential amino acids (called EAAs) that our body cannot make, so we have to consume them as nutrition.
These EAAs are used to not just to build muscles, but for building all our connective tissue (collagen) such as skin, hair, teeth, bones, nails; and also used by our brain (functions, focus, mood, and sleep). The true building blocks of our entire bodies !
2) Amino Acids are like Construction Materials
Building muscle and collegan needs lots of materials. Each amino acid is like it's individual construction material needed to build a house or a skyscraper, where each amino is like: concrete, windows, wiring, drywall, plumbing, etc. You need all of them present to build your house.
3) Our Muscles and Collegan use Aminos in Specific, but Different Amounts
The study of human muscle and collegan tells us exactly how much of each amino is present in our muscles and all of the different types of collegan, hair, nails, teeth, tendons, plus all of the different layers of our skin.
Muscles, connective tissues (collagen), and brain functions each have specific proportions of each amino acid needed to build or maintain them.
4) Protein is not Stored in the Body. Use it or it's Metabolized into Fat
Unfortuantely, our bodies can't store proteins and their amino acids. We store fat in fat cells and store carbs in glycogen. For protein, whatever is unused each day is wasted. Its metabolized and broken down into glycogen or tryglycerides for fat storage!

5) Every Day is like a Construction Project
With skyscrapers, you can store all of your materials on the site. Bring in 1000 windows and have them sit in storage until you need them. Since the body cannot store any aminos, so you have to bring in exactly what you need to build a "full floor of muscle" each day.
Let's say you want to build 10 stories of muscle today. If you think you ate enough to build 10 floors, but for one of those EAAs, you only ate enough to build 1 story of muscle, then the other 9 stories of amino materials will be metabolized into fats, lost forever and wasted!
